For the last 5 years, I have experienced the highs and lows of a creative business entrepreneur. There is a raw reality as an artist begins climbing the mountain of doubt and insecurities facing most creative entrepreneurs. An often defeating tension arises when an artist attempts to maintain creative energy while pursuing the foundation of business. Over the years, I have noticed a growing number of talented artists who hope to start their own businesses, but just do not know where to start. I want you to know you are not alone, I have been there, and not too long ago – I want to use this weekend to offer what bit of wisdom 5 years of experience has given me.
