Last week, I had the pleasure of painting a 60x48in. canvas at Alexis’ house in Austin, Texas. There I met her sweet pup, Pete. He has one sharp blue eye, and one golden brown eye. Alexis wanted something similar to my lion paintings, but Pete as the subject, to hang as a statement piece in her living room. I couldn’t be more happy with the results, but more importantly, it was so fun working with a gem of a client! It’s the people I work with whom make my job so wonderful.
