Originally from Austin, Texas, Jennie’s inherent nature is to create community — often hosting friends at her home. She sees art, too, as a form of kinship or hospitality, not expressing her own tastes, but pairing pure colors with the stories of others.

MAY 9TH – 3:00-4:30pm (MST)

I thought it would be fun to host a class for Mothers to paint with their daughter(s) or friends! Please invite all your friends and we can paint flowers together, you can exchange them after the class as a gift! This will be a great time grab a cocktail or glass of wine, escape quarantine, and enjoy the therapy of painting together.

Here is a supplies list, you can pick and choose what you need, make sure you order before Saturday May 9th! You can also order from Michael’s or Hobby Lobby – all you basically need is: a canvas, acrylic paint (variety of colors), paintbrushes, paper plate (palette), cup of water and paper towels

Some colors to have on hand – bright colors (red, pink, yellow, orange etc.), blues, a navy, green (dark and light), and white

Some more acrylic supplies:

If you want the bare minimum, these are reasonable options:

  • Blick Studio Acrylics – Set of 12 + Bonus Tube

  • Blick Essentials Value Brush Set – Craft Brushes, Set of 25

  • Blick Canvas Panel – 18” x 24”
